Job Description

This individual has 7-12 years of extensive experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite SCM Functional Analyst working on multiple projects in Oracle R12 and 11i versions with focus in the domain of Supply Chain Management (SCM), including Order Management (OM), Advanced Pricing, Purchasing (PO) with iProcurement (iProc), Inventory (INV), Incentive Compensation and suitable knowledge in Shipping/Distribution areas. The Senior Oracle SCM Functional Analyst has experience working on cross-functional modules in the environment of Quote to Order (Q2O) or Order-to-Cash (O2C), Configure Product Quote (CPQ) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles with possible integration of third-party systems. This individual is experienced in working with team members; leading project teams/coordinating project activities/project management across Oracle application implementations and third-party integrations.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Works with the following Oracle R12 SCM modules: Order Management and Shipping, Inventory, Purchasing, Advanced Pricing, Incentive Compensation and Advance Supply Chain Planning
  2. 1 Full life cycle Oracle EBS project involving implementation/modules; Development (DEV), Conference Room Pilot (CRP), User Acceptance Test (UAT), User Training and GO-LIVE and Post Production support in Multi-Org Environment
  3. Serves as a strong source of business knowledge (consultancy), or a research liaison role, for IT development groups
  4. Designs, configures, tests, documents, and deploys application modifications according to user and business specifications includes; requirement gathering, gap analysis, and product/module implementation & customization phases
  5. Manages and resolves SRs as related to all Oracle modules and interfaces 
  6. Partners with business users to identify opportunities for system improvements, lead functional implementations/ enhancements of Oracle modules and monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests
  7. Quickly recognizes and researches complex business problems to expedite resolution
  8. Identifies gaps and opportunities for process improvements through standardization, changes in practice, or through IT automation
  9. Develops and executes system test plans.  Conducts and documents rigorous quality assurance testing processes for all production deliverables.  Tests and validates patches/upgrades/new processes

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area required
  • Oracle certification a plus
  • Minimum 7 years of experience supporting Oracle Applications (12.1.3, R12.2.3 preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working on Oracle Supply Chain, Planning and/or WMS Distribution
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Oracle ERP implementations and integration
  • Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years’ experience working in Oracle R12
  • Leading and guiding projects and team member tasks to achieving goals & successful implementations 
  • Work in support of organizations employing “Lean” methodologies highly desirable
  • Created and managed service requests (SRs) and follow up, conducted Oracle Web Conference (OWC) with Oracle support for speedy resolution for all high prioritized issues
  • Experience in organizing status meetings including coordination with the business team, preparing and presenting project status reports
  • Experience in Fusion/Cloud is a plus

Skills & Abilities:

  • Oracle eBusiness Suite, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Applications functionality
  • MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, familiarity with Project Management tools
  • Ability to accomplish assigned projects utilizing excellent communication (written and verbal), project management, time management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to perform high quality work within assigned deadlines
  • Ability to focus on the accomplishment of current departmental priorities
  • Ability to provide service with integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to streamline processes through necessary skill sets
  • Strong ability to work well in a variety of team environments
  • VCP Modules; Advance Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) a plus but not required
  • VCP Modules; Demantra (DM/AFDM), Rapid Planning, etc. a plus but not required
  • Proficiency in implementation process mapping, functional requirement analysis, train end users


  • Travel may be required up to 5% annually to acquired business units (process review and training)
