Job Description

This position is responsible for providing administrative and marketing support and performing a variety of specialized tasks contributing to the overall success of the Marketing team. 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate execution of marketing automation activities; conduct data mining using data.com and similar tools; coordinate scheduling and execution of campaigns
  2. Support trade-show scheduling and servicing, seminar scheduling/maintenance and follow-up, sample orders, literature shipments and invoice processing/budget tracking
  3. Place sample orders; coordinate order status with Customer Service to identify tracking and delivery
  4. Coordinate ordering and collation of launch and material supplies
  5. Review competitor activity on an ongoing basis, work with marketing manager to draw conclusions and form recommendations on future marketing activity and response
  6. Conduct and assemble market research data and recommend targeted marketing activity based on research 
  7. Create and maintain business unit’s lead databases (Salesforce.com)
  8. Follow-up on each sales inquiry received, web based and print media, via phone, and/or mail; assess lead’s intent and time-line to purchase and assign qualified lead to appropriate field sales person to advance the purchase cycle
  9. Provide monthly report of lead qualification activity
  10. Coordinate merchandising and literature set up with online literature fulfillment site, various vendors and regional distribution center
  11. Analyze monthly inventory reports for marketing collateral and merchandising materials warehoused at vendor and in regional distribution center; make recommendations of what materials should be moved or discontinued
  12. Work with field sales, customer service, Leviton technical support and external vendors to support the marketing team with execution of annual business unit strategy and marketing plan, including administrative support for Builder program
  13. Update/review marketing content on Leviton Resource Center, as needed

 

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree required in Business, Marketing, English or related field 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a professional and courteous demeanor 
  • Must have strong organizational skills, with exceptional attention to details and planning
  • Must be able to problem-solve, prioritize, and handle a multitude of projects simultaneously
  • Must be dependable, resourceful, and able to work independently  
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or the ability to become proficient
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com preferred

 

Travel:

  • Up to 5%
